Florence needs no introduction, but it is certainly worth a visit. When you think of Pisa you immediately think of the Leaning Tower, the city’s symbolic monument and one of the most photographed and admired monuments in the world. A thousand-year history is presented in this park that includes the area where the ancient Etruscan and Roman city of Populonia once stood. The Baratti Archaeological Park is located in Piombino, in the province of Livorno.
The ancient artefacts can be viewed inside the park, which is divided into different visiting areas. The remains of the Benedictine monastery of San Quirico can still be seen in the woods on the promontory.
The Baratti Archaeological Park is an ideal destination for those who love nature and beautiful scenery: there are numerous trekking itineraries within the park.
If you want to add a touch of relaxation to your stay, enjoy a few hours of complete repose in one of the nearby thermal resorts. Among the most famous thermal baths close to our hotel, we recommend the Terme di Sassetta, a place of wellness with treatments for face and body, and the Terme Etrusche Calidario, a spa with thermal baths, saunas, steam bath, sensory showers and relaxation area.
Near our camping village in Cecina, you will find many opportunities for entertainment in the evenings. Starting from the nearby village of Bolgheri, the possibilities are many. The port of Marina di Cecina is another excellent place to spend carefree moments, enjoying a drink and a stroll with a view of the sea.
If you are looking for a bit of fun in and around Cecina, we recommend the Astragalo Club and the Cardellino in Castiglioncello. Closer to the campsite is Verderiviera Beach, ideal for young people who want to dance and listen to music on the beach until late at night!
Close to the campsite is Bowling di Vada, with billiards, laser games and bowling alleys, open every evening until late at night.
